Why dark art?
That is a very good question, and one I have often been asked. What I paint is not meant to be negative or dark. I paint how I depict the things I've experienced - whether in my own life, or what I have experienced others go through. It can be extremely difficult to talk about certain memories, or emotions. So in my mind these paintings speak the words I cannot say. It is my way of confronting it, and finding solace - if not for myself then hopefully for you. I hope that you see something that speaks to you the same way it does for me, and helps in some way.
